The Lord, through prophecy, declares judgment on Mount Seir due to its longstanding hatred and bloodshed against Israel. Mount Seir shall be made desolate with its cities laid waste. The Lord’s judgement is meant to reveal his power and authority, and serve as retribution for Mount Seir’s transgressions against Israel.
